According to many users and experts, despite the small amount of content offered by Apple TV Plus (currently 271 films and series), those looking for quality content on video streaming platforms are more likely to find more interesting content on Apple TV Plus than on Netflix or Disney Plus. When it comes to the largest amount of content in a streaming service's library, Amazon Prime Video is the undisputed leader with more than 13,827 titles.

Apple TV+ has the highest IMDB score for the value of a streaming video service's library at 7.01/10, and importantly, the content is well suited to each age group of its viewers. This is the third year in a row that the platform has won (it won in 2021, 2022 and 2024). As is well known, only Netflix has a higher rating among TV show viewers. Second only to Apple TV+ in terms of the quality of the content offered by the platform is Max, with a score of 6.9/10. Disney completes the podium with a score of 6.6/10.

The main objective of the Self Financial study was to examine the quality of content in relation to price. The average US household has an average of 4.4 paid services activated and pays approximately $53 per month for all streaming service subscriptions.

The content available on the Apple TV+ service is getting more and more interesting, and perhaps one day its library will be as rich as Netflix, Disney Plus or Max. Just a few original hits and the problem of the amount of content available won't be so obvious. And as I always say, it's not about quantity, it's about quality.
